Event Branding: SKO

Pega holds its annual global Sales Kick-off (SKO) to excite and enable the company, specifically the sales function, around the goals, the latest messaging and our positioning. The theme of SKO 22 was 'Client First", in line with our corporate business strategy.

This event is one of 2 major events that is branded to be in-line with our core brand, but deviates stylistically. This is exclusively an internal facing event and due to COVID, this event was virtual for the 2nd year in a row so deliverables were mainly digital focused.

CORE LOGO AND GRAPHIC

Another element to our branding that is typically used very sparingly overall, but even within a composition, are textures and patterns. For a bolder more lively event brand I pulled both a texture and pattern into the core SKO graphic.

Using just one primary brand color--navy--as a grounding color, the event palette pulled from the secondary and tertiary palette with a focus on warm tones for this primary palette versus the typical cool core branding of the navy, teal and white primary palette.

Shown are key parts to Pega's Chief Marketing Officer's keynote presentation. The final output of the presentation was a recorded version of the clips shown here, edited by our video team to included strategic cuts to the CMO presenting on set in order to break up the Powerpoint slides and give the feel of a live presentation.

This presentation uses more animation than is standard for the company to tell a story through visuals and movement, allowing for more content to be presented in a clean way. The design at times was intentionally busy for impact around the scale of content created.

My job was to take a script and identify key opportunities to create visual impact. Presentation concept, visual creation, and animation were all part of my scope, as well as creative direction in collaboration with the video team.

Note: no sound for confidentiality reasons and video transitions have been sped up, so please excuse minor jumps as these are not the final edited clips.
